Camping Sea Green – Le Paradis

Camping Le Paradis spreads over 4 wooded hectares in Talmont-Saint-Hilaire, halfway between Les Sables-d’Olonne and Port-Bourgenay. The site belongs to the Sea Green by Sunêlia network and holds 4 stars, with a deliberately family atmosphere: educational mini-farm, kids’ club, mini-olympics and sports activities in season.

This is a campsite built for a modest budget without dropping a category: French VACAF allowances are accepted, so are ANCV holiday vouchers, the laundry is free and the beach shuttle costs nothing in July and August. Rentals range from the 23 m² Loisir Comfort mobile home to the four-bedroom Cottage Comfort sleeping eight, along with Coco Sweet canvas units and a tipi tent for shorter stays.

Dining happens at Le Jardin du Paradis, the campsite restaurant and bar, backed by a grocery shop and a bread service. The laundry is free, which pays for itself quickly over a two-week family stay. Bikes are available to rent and a free shuttle serves the beach in July and August.

Reception opens from 9am to 7pm in July and August, then from 9am to noon and 1pm to 5pm until closing on 16 September. The booking centre answers Monday to Saturday from 9am to 6pm. Arrival from 4pm, departure before 10am. Visa and Mastercard, ANCV holiday vouchers and VACAF allowances are accepted. Two animals per accommodation are allowed with no weight limit, at 7 euros per day per animal, free from 31 August to 16 September.

On site, the programme covers the educational mini-farm, the kids’ club for ages 4 to 12 in July and August, mini-olympics, mini-golf, pétanque, the multi-sports court and the playgrounds. The fenced agility park, open around the clock, is a genuine distinguishing feature for anyone travelling with a dog.

Around the site, the Vendée coast supplies the rest: Le Veillon beach 4 km away, Bourgenay marina for sea outings and windsurfing, salt marshes and oyster tasting at La Guittière, cycle paths towards Les Sables-d’Olonne. The Puy du Fou theme park makes a day trip.
