Frequently asked questions FAQ Normandie

This campsite doesn't have its own FAQ yet: frequently asked questions about campsites in Normandie.

Where can I find a cheap campsite in Normandy?

In Calvados, which has the most campsites, and in Manche, which is often more affordable. Avoid the Côte Fleurie around Deauville if you are after the lowest prices.

When is camping in Normandy cheapest?

In May, June and September. Prices are much lower than in July and August, and Normandy’s mild climate makes these months very pleasant.

Can I camp near the D-Day beaches?

Yes, several campsites are in Calvados around Bayeux and Arromanches, a few minutes from the beaches and historic sites, many of which are free to visit.

Are there campsites near Mont-Saint-Michel?

Yes, in southern Manche around Avranches and Granville. From there you can visit the Mont while enjoying the coast.

How can I keep costs down?

A pitch for your tent, caravan or motorhome is the cheapest. For rentals, compare the total price including extras: tourist tax, linen and booking fees.
